Talula, New Zealand’s one and only locally made clothing brand for Tween girls, is now available at Whakatane fashion boutique Jean & Pete. And we are super excited to be in the Bay of Plenty!

Owned by Stacey Murray and Rebecca (Becs) Harrison, the philosophy behind Jean & Pete is fun, on trend and ethically made fashion, all perfectly aligned with what Talula stands for.
“Where possible, our collections are New Zealand made” says Stacey.
“Talula is a great fit. We love the exceptional quality of the garments and I particularly love the fabrics and prints featured in this first collection. I truly believe it’s fabric that sells a garment.”
Becs agrees on the quality of the clothing, but for her the outstanding features of Talula are that it’s made locally and designed exclusively for Tweens. “Sophia, my 8-year-old is tall, she needs a size 12 and it’s been a struggle to find quality clothes that are age-appropriate.
“Talula is filling that gap and we were immediate fans of the collection.
“My favourite item is the Harlowe Harem Pants which are so versatile, beautifully designed and made in a great fabric. I wish they came in adult size!
“Sophia loves the blue floral Dixie dress because it’s such an awesome style.”
Talula clothing is specially designed to accommodate the changing shapes of Tween girls; to help them feel good and be confident in what they are wearing. Sizes range from 8 to 14.
Furthermore, every item is limited edition.
So, if you know a Tween girl who’d appreciate something a little bit different, take a trip to Jean & Pete in Whakatane and check out the Talula collection together. SOON!
